Water Fools by Ilotopie (France)

"Acclaimed French street theatre company Ilotopie brings Water Fools to Boat Quay (23-25 May 2008). In a mystical and magical journey, a man travels to Singapore's popular waterfront, arriving in a sputtering little car. Whimsical water creatures loom from the river, as fireworks unfold in an aquatic extravaganza. Giant magical sets that turn everyday objects into fantastic machines look set to wow audiences, as they take the man beyond the wildest dreams of his humble car ride into a dazzling opening show at the Singapore Arts Festival."

What better way to spend a Saturday night squeezing amongst thousands of people along the banks of Boat Quay, watching the novel French group Ilotopie perform their unique Water Fools item to kick start the Singapore Arts Festival?
