Waffles and Gelato

If you're looking for a cheap place for waffles and gelato, do check out The Sweet Stone Parad' Ice at Golden Mile Food Centre (Army Market) at 505 Beach Road, #01-67. While they only serve one kind of waffle (the Belgium lieche waffle I think), their home-made gelato is pretty decent. Gotta run, updates later.

Interestingly, as I walked along Beach Road towards Bugis, I passed by an open "field" where a couple of elderly folks were engaging in a game of croquet! Rare in the Singaporean context if you ask me, but good to see how they can afford to enjoy their free time in a unique sport.
